All our products are in stock and ready to ship, allowing us to deliver beautifully handcrafted furniture to families around the world quickly and reliably. This comprehensive policy outlines every aspect of our global shipping process, costs, and delivery guarantees.

1. Shipping Area & Service Limitations

To ensure safe transportation and reliable delivery times for our large, handcrafted wooden pieces, we work exclusively with specialized international ground carriers.

We proudly ship to:

  • North America: United States (US), Canada

  • Europe: United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Portugal

  • Oceania: Australia

We do not deliver to:

  • P.O. Boxes (due to package size)

  • Military addresses (APO/FPO/DPO)

  • Overseas U.S. territories (e.g., Puerto Rico, Guam, etc.)

Address & Access Requirements

  • A home or business address is required for all solid-wood furniture items.
  • If the destination has restricted vehicle access, involves challenging stairs/elevators, or has tight corridors, please contact Hanatees before ordering so available options and any necessary add-on services can be confirmed.

2. Order Processing & Handling

Since all our items are crafted and quality-checked beforehand, we focus on prompt dispatch.

3. Shipping Costs & Transit Times

Because our bookshelves and console tables are substantial wooden products, each order requires careful, customized international packaging. We use a straightforward fee structure based on the total value of your order.

Transparency Guarantee: The shipping charge is always displayed clearly before you complete your purchase. There are no hidden fees or shipping surcharges applied by Hanatees at checkout.

4. Order Tracking, Packaging, and Shipment Origin

  • Carriers: We partner with premium international carriers specializing in freight services such as USPS for smaller U.S. parcels; YunExpress, and Yanwen Express, depending on the size and weight of each order. These trusted carriers are experienced in handling fragile, oversized, and heavy shipments with care.
  • Tracking: A Shipping Confirmation Email with your tracking number and carrier link will be sent once the label is created. Tracking visibility usually activates within 24-48 hours.
  • Packaging:
    • Robust Packaging: We utilize specialized, multi-layered, impact-resistant packaging including rigid boards, dense foam, and reinforced corners to protect solid wood components during long-haul transit.
    • Curbside Delivery: Large furniture often ships via LTL Freight with a liftgate service. This service provides curbside or driveway delivery only—it does not include in-home placement or setup.
    • Delivery Appointment: Freight carriers typically call or text to schedule a delivery window. It is the customer’s responsibility to be present for this appointment.
    • Assembly: Many furniture items ship partially disassembled to protect components. Every order includes a picture-based guide and basic tools.

5. Delivery Exceptions & Delays

While we ensure timely dispatch, international delivery can face external delays:

Customs Clearance Unpredictable delays of up to 7-10 days are possible if packages are randomly selected for inspection in the destination country. Check tracking often; follow up with local customs if necessary.

6. Order Changes, Cancellations, and Address Issues

  • Order Cancellation: To cancel an order, requests must be received via email at support@hanatees.com within 12 hours of placing the order. We cannot guarantee cancellation once the packaging process begins.
  • Incorrect Address: It is the customer’s responsibility to provide an accurate shipping address. If a package is undeliverable or returned due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, the customer is responsible for both the original and the re-shipping fees.

7. Damaged or Lost Shipments Policy

Damaged Upon Arrival (MUST Document)

    • Take clear photos of the damaged exterior box and the damaged item itself.
    • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@hanatees.com with your order number and photos.
    • We will promptly file a claim and arrange for a replacement to be shipped to you at no cost, or process a full refund.

Package Lost in Transit: If tracking is stalled for 15 consecutive days or the package has not been delivered within 20 business days, please notify us. We will initiate a formal trace and, once confirmed lost, will send a replacement or issue a full refund.

8. Returns & Refunds

We want you to love your handcrafted furniture. Our Return & Refund Policy is designed to be straightforward and fair:

  • Standard Returns: Returns are accepted if the item is in its original condition and packaging. You must follow our detailed return process by contacting us first.
  • Return Shipping Costs
    • For returns due to manufacturing defects or shipping damage, Hanatees will cover the cost of return shipping.
    • For other reasons (such as a change of mind or wrong size ordered), customers are responsible for the return shipping costs.
  • Refund Processing: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, all refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5 business days.
