Hanatees Order Cancellation Policy

At Hanatees, we value flexibility and transparency. This policy explains how you can cancel an order, the timeframe for doing so, and how refunds are handled if you change your mind after placing an order.

1. The 12-Hour Cancellation Window

You may cancel your order for a full refund within 12 hours of placing it.

  • Status: If the order has not yet entered the packaging or shipping stage, we will cancel it immediately and issue a full refund to your original payment method.

  • Cost: No fees.

2. How to Request a Cancellation

To ensure your request is seen and processed as quickly as possible, please follow these steps:

  • Email us immediately at: support@hanatees.com

  • Subject Line: Please use the format: “CANCEL ORDER #[Your Order Number]”

  • Body of Email: Include your full name and the reason for cancellation (optional, but helpful).

3. Cancellations After 12 Hours

If your request is received after 12 hours, or if your order has already entered the packaging/shipping process:

  • We will attempt to intercept the order, but we cannot guarantee cancellation.

  • Once a shipping label has been created or the item has been handed to the carrier, the order cannot be canceled.

If the item has already shipped: You will need to wait for the item to be delivered and then proceed with a return. Please note that per our Return & Refund Policy:

  • You will be responsible for the return shipping costs.

  • A 30% restocking fee may be deducted from your refund to cover the initial handling and packaging materials.

  • Original shipping fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.

4. Custom Orders

If you ordered a customized piece (specific size, color, or finish not listed as standard):

  • Cancellations are only accepted within 12 hours.

  • Once production has started on a custom piece, we cannot cancel the order as materials have already been cut and prepared specifically for you.

5. Refund Timeline

If your cancellation request is approved:

  • We will process the refund within 7 business days.

  • You will receive a confirmation email.

  • Funds typically return to your bank or credit card statement within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank’s processing times.
